➤After a long wait and a lot of controversy, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducted the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) on 23rd January 2022. The education body had released the admit card for the exam on January 14 on its official website, updeled.gov.in. UPTET exam was conducted in two shifts. The primary level exam was held in the first shift between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM while the upper primary level exam was held in the second shift between 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.Earlier this exam was to be held on 28 November 2021 but due to paper leak, the exam was canceled. The question paper was circulated on Whats-app groups, and the UP Police arrested many people in connection with the case. ➤Successfully clearing the UPTET exam does not guarantee a job and it only gives the eligibility certificate for the teacher. Hence, it is necessary to get the cut off marks to qualify which is decided on the basis of category.The pay scale for primary school under UP TET will be Rs 9300-35400. Whereas for secondary school the pay scale will be Rs 9300-44900. The grade pay for primary school will be Rs 4200 and for secondary school the grade pay will be Rs 4600. Apart from this, teachers also get dearness allowance and HRA.
➤UPको सफलतापूर्वक पास करने के बाद नौकरी की गारंटी नहीं है और यह परीक्षा पास करने के बाद भी शिक्षक के लिए पात्रता प्रमाण पत्र देता है। इसलिए, अर्हता प्राप्त करने के लिए कट ऑफ अंक प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है जो कि श्रेणी के आधार पर तय किया जाता है। यूपी टीईटी के तहत प्राथमिक विद्यालय के लिए वेतनमान(salery) 9300-35400 रुपये होगा। जबकि उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय के लिए वेतनमान 9300-44900 रुपये होगा। ओर प्राथमिक विद्यालय के लिए ग्रेड पे 4200 रुपये और माध्यमिक विद्यालय के लिए ग्रेड पे 4600 रुपये होगा। इसके अलावा शिक्षकों को महंगाई भत्ता और एचआरए भी मिलता है।
